FS GLEN HADGRAFT RAF FOOTBALL CAREER

FS Glen Hadgraft recently received his RAF Colours for Coaching, which is another milestone in an involvement in RAF football which has spanned his entire career.

As a dynamic, left footed mid-fielder he represented and captained every station he was posted to; and for those old enough to remember them he captained both Strike and Support Command, along with RAF Germany.  Highlights of his playing career include being a member of the RAF Senior Squad for 15 years and  Captaining them to an Inter Services Championship.  He also played at semi-professional level for Fleetwood Town, Northallerton Town, Hungerford Town and Lancaster City; the pinnacle was representing Fleetwood Town at Wembley Stadium in the 1985 FA Vase Final.

As age took it toll he turned his hand to coaching with the same un-paralleled success.  He coached both RAF Leeming and RAF Coningsby to County League Titles and the RAF Challenge Cup. Stepping up a level he guided the RAF U-23 squad to an Inter-Services Title, and for the last year he has been the RAF Senior Representative Team Head Coach.  FS Hadgraft is a UEFA B qualified and FA Licensed coach.

Forward Staneval Sqn are very much looking forward to the CO’s Cup football event, where we feel that FS Hadgraft may get a run-out.
