Young people joined a variety of activities delivered by the Airplay Support Team during February Half Term. Station Youth Workers provided 3 fun packed afternoons of activities including cookery, arts and crafts and a visit to the Kinema in the Woods.

Airplay is a £24 million support programme for young people living on RAF stations– it’s the only project of its kind for Service families and here at RAF Coningsby we are providing a variety of activities throughout the year. Throughout the week we have a Youth Committee who meet on a Monday evening and we hold a junior and senior youth club on a Wednesday evening at the Clinton Park Community Centre. We also run a drop in facility at Youthworx in Coningsby on a Tuesday evening. Our holiday activity programme continues to develop and we will be running more events throughout the Easter holidays, for more information please contact Lou the Community Development Officer on 01526 347865
